How to Activate the Pass
Starting August 15, 2025, users can activate the FASTag Annual Pass in a few simple steps:
Ensure your FASTag is active and KYC-verified.
Download the Rajmarg Yatra mobile app (available on Android and iOS) or visit the official NHAI portal.
Log in using your registered FASTag details and choose the “Annual Pass” option.
Pay ₹3,000 via UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking.
Confirmation will be sent via SMS once the pass is successfully linked to your FASTag.
No additional devices or stickers are needed — your existing FASTag will handle all toll clearance automatically.
After Expiry: What Happens?
Once your annual limit of 200 transactions is reached or 12 months are completed, your FASTag will automatically switch back to regular toll deduction mode. You can choose to renew the annual pass again for the next cycle.
Additional Details to Note
This plan is not valid for state highway tolls or private toll booths.
The ₹3,000 fee is non-refundable.
The Ministry may revise the pricing annually, typically from April 1 onward.
Users will receive SMS alerts when nearing their trip or time limit.
